Our mission

Gold Tested is an independent product review publication dedicated to helping consumers make confident purchasing decisions. We buy every product at retail price, test it using standardized protocols, and publish our findings without influence from manufacturers or advertisers.

We do not accept free products from manufacturers. We do not accept payment for reviews. Our revenue comes from affiliate commissions when readers purchase products through our links — but our recommendations are made before any commercial consideration.

How we work

• We buy every product at retail price from the same stores our readers use.
• We test in real conditions — not labs optimized for best-case results.
• We measure, don't guess. Subjective impressions are validated with calibrated instruments.
• We test long-term. A product that is great on day one and failing by month three does not earn our certification.
• We update continuously. When manufacturers release updates or competitors launch new models, we re-evaluate.
